Special Management Care
Desert View Care Center of Buhl offers a Special Management Care Center for brain-injured young adults. Our highly trained and specialized staff have thirteen years experience working with special needs adults. We understand the unique needs of these residents and have developed a highly specialized program to assist them in developing day to day skills and providing strong advocacy for their rights, especially for those who may be unable to advocate for themselves. Our caring and skilled registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and certified nurses’ assistants have attended intensive training to understand the needs of the special and very individual group of people they serve. Our activity staff provide daily structured social activities that reflect not only our residents’ present, but also past social interests. Our Special Management Care Center caters to those in need of both short and long term placement.

Short term placements are primarily, but not limited to, medication and behavior stabilization. Long term placements are accepted from the home setting, hospital, residential care, or skilled nursing facilities both within and outside the state of Idaho.
