Our Care

Skilled Nursing
BRP is here to assist you and your family if you have questions about skilled nursing, our services and care centers. We recognize that it can be a stressful time and that there are several important factors to consider when deciding on the best treatment and care center for you or your loved one.

BRP provides superior, responsive and affordable care. We value our staff of health practitioners and believe that a skilled nursing facility should be organized for the purpose of healing, personal growth and celebrating life.

What is skilled nursing?

Skilled nursing provides health services like observation, evaluation, management and rehabilitation of varying conditions by a group of practitioners. It may follow hospitalization and is typically provided in a skilled nursing facility also called a nursing home. Our care and services may be needed for a short or long period of time and vary from patient to patient.

Services provided at a skilled nursing facility include:

  • Physical therapy
  • Intravenous injections
  • Foley catheter insertions
  • Observation for complications and pain management
  • Medication management
  • Patient education about illness and injury to help patients manage their condition(s)

Skilled nursing often involves a variety of health care practitioners including registered nurses, physical and occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, and audiologists. These practitioners provide more specialized nursing care to patients by regularly monitoring, assessing and evaluating patient needs and conditions, planning preventative and rehabilitative care and consulting with other health care practitioners.

At BRP, our professional staff sets goals with you and your family, and strives to provide personalized, prompt and detailed care to manage, maintain and improve your condition.
